Management Team

Keith Jackson, Executive Director

Years with Action: Keith has been with Action since 2006 when Action began.
 
Baseball background: Keith played baseball all through high school and was given numerous offers to play in college.  Keith played in college until an injury required him to stop.  His love of the game brought him back to baseball when he started Action Baseball Club in 2006. 
 
Favorite thing about working at Action: Keith is most proud of watching the number of athletes who go through the Action program, excel in high school, reach their baseball dreams, thrive in life off the field, and some even come back and coach for Action.
 
Fun fact: Keith stays in contact with most of the players who have come through Action and has even attended many of their weddings!

Tracey Jackson, Director/CFO

Years with Action: Tracey has been with Action since 2006 when Action began.
 
Baseball background: Tracey spent many years watching her boys play baseball.  She also helped Keith start Action Baseball in 2006 and has been an integral part of Action Baseball ever since!
 
Favorite thing about working at Action: Tracey is most proud of the strong relationships she and Keith have formed with most of the boys who have come through Action.  They are truly like family and those relationships are just as strong today as they were when the boys were playing with Action!
 
 

Kyle Gray, Director

Years with Action: Kyle played with Action Baseball for 5 years until he graduated high school in 2015.  
 
Baseball background: Kyle’s passion has come from the coaches he’s had previously in his career, from it being in high school when he played for Action Baseball, or college at West Virginia University and with the New York Yankees organization.  Kyle grew up in Blanco, TX and was the district 27-2A player of the year in 2014 and 2015.  He was with Action Baseball for 5 years and played 3 years at West Virginia University in the Big 12.  Kyle was All Region and an All American in 2018 and was also drafted in 2018 by the New York Yankees in the 14th round. 

Favorite thing about working at Action: What I love most about working with Action is being able to coach and develop players with the information I have from my career.

Clayton Heald, Communications Director

Years with Action: Clayton has been with Action since 2020.
 
Baseball background: Clayton played baseball all through high school.  He got back into it seriously in the early 2000’s when he started umpiring.  He has umpired games up to the college level.  Clayton started coaching his kids in 2005 and has coached with a travel ball organization in the past for 3 seasons. 
 
Favorite thing about working at Action: The mission and goal of Action Baseball is why Clayton enjoys working at Action.  They strive to let players compete at the level they want to achieve.  You can’t ask for more than that!
 
Fun fact: Clayton played Curly in the play Oklahoma in his 8th grade musical. 

Caley Powers, Social Media Specialist

Years with Action: Caley started with Action in August 2021
 
Baseball background: Caley played softball growing up. She also spent 8 seasons working with the Texas Rangers. 
 
Favorite thing about working at Action: Getting to highlight the players moments.When Caley was younger she remembers the excitement when her sports successes made the town paper. Social media is like that but on a much bigger scale. It is fun to highlight their successes and share with our followers and to see them share our posts. She loves that Action is big on praising the successes of their players and getting those moments out there to highlight their athletes. 
 
Fun fact: Caley has two state medals from playing volleyball in HS. 

Randy Duncan, Operations

Years with Action: Randy has been part of Action either as a Coach or parent for 6 years

Baseball background: Randy played baseball throughout high school.  He opted out of continuing to play in college to join the United States Army.

Favorite thing about working at Action:  Randy loves seeing all the development in the athletes from their skill set to their mental approach

Fun fact:  Randy loves bass fishing and actually fished professionally for three years before moving to Texas.

Randy is extremely proud of his twins.  His son has has been with Action since 11U and his daughter is a competitive soccer player.

Suzie Meier, Marketing Specialist

Years with Action: Suzie started working with Action Baseball Club on their marketing and website in August 2021, but she has been a part of the organization as a parent since 2017.
 
Baseball background: Suzie’s son Eyan started playing t-ball when he was 4 years old and has played baseball every year since!  Suzie has attended countless baseball games cheering on her son and his teammates. 
 
Favorite thing about working at Action: The staff at Action Baseball Club are amazing.  Suzie loves working with every one of them!   She also loves being a part of a growing organization that cares so much about each and every player that comes through their organization
 
Fun fact: Suzie has run 17 full marathons and countless half marathons.
