Ryan Goins

Infield Coach & Hitting Coach

We are proud to announce Ryan Goins, second baseman and shortstop for the Atlanta Braves Organization, will be an Infield Coach at Action’s Winter Camp!  Goins attended Stony Point High School where he played for their baseball team all four years as a shortstop.

From there, Goins went on to play at Dallas Baptist from 2007 – 2009.  In his three seasons with the Dallas Baptist Patriots, Goins hit 32 home runs and recorded 117 RBIs.  In 2009, Goins set the Patriots record for home runs during a single season with 22.  During the off season, Goins played with the Waterloo Bucks and the Northwoods League.

In 2009 Goins was Drafted by the Blue Jays in the 4th round of the 2009 MLB Draft where he played on their minor league teams.  In August 2013, Goins was called up by the Blue Jays.  He made his MLB debut on August 23, 2013.  From there, Goins signed minor league contracts with Kansas City Royals, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox, and Oakland Athletics.  In February 2021, Goins signed a minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves organization, where he currently plays today.

We are lucky enough to have Goins work with our athletes as an Infield and Hitting Coach for Action’s Winter Camp!
